STOP WORK ORDER
TO ALL OWNERS,
Afternoon All, as you’re probably aware, we received a STOP WORK ORDER that was placed on the project at SB by the County. Note that the County Inspector notified us that the County received a call from the EPA who received an anonymous report about work being completed without a permit. As we know Florida Structural was instructed by our engineers to begin demo, and it is common practice to begin demo work while the permits are in review, as long as nothing is covered up so the inspectors can inspect. Note that the inspector said doing demo while waiting for the permit is not unusual, but because of the complaint, the Stop Work Order had to be placed. Also note, there will NOT be a fine assessed for this action.
